❓ When is the best time of year to take a golf trip?
It depends on your destination:
Europe (Scotland, Ireland, Spain): April–October
Turkey, Portugal: March–June and September–November
USA (Myrtle Beach, Arizona): Spring and Fall
Asia & Australia: October–April
❓ How far in advance should I book a golf trip?
3 to 6 months ahead is ideal for most destinations.
For St Andrews and other bucket list courses, we recommend 9–12 months in advance.
❓ Do you organize trips for solo golfers?
Yes! We offer custom solo itineraries and can pair you with other travelers or group packages if desired.
Golf Clubs & Packing
❓ Should I bring my own clubs or rent?
Bring your own if you’re playing more than twice.
Rent if you’re on a short trip or want to avoid baggage fees. We can arrange premium rental sets at most destinations.
❓ How do I pack my golf clubs for a flight?
Use a hard-shell travel case or padded soft case with stiff arm.
Wrap clubs with towels and bubble wrap for extra protection.
Add a name tag and TSA-approved lock.
Booking & Payment
❓ What is included in a GolfTR.com package?
Tee times at premium courses
Hotel or resort accommodation
Transfers and/or rental car
Optional meals, spa services, and excursions
❓ How do payments and deposits work?
A deposit (typically 25%) secures your booking.
Final balance is due 30–60 days before departure.
We accept all major credit cards and wire transfers.
❓ Do you offer group discounts?
Yes — discounts apply for groups of 4+ and for corporate or tournament events. We also offer referral rewards.
Travel Logistics & Insurance
❓ Can you help with flights?
While we do not book flights directly, we can recommend best routes and timing, especially for coordinating arrival transfers.
❓ Is travel insurance required?
Not required but strongly recommended. It covers trip cancellations, weather disruptions, golf gear, and injuries.

Course Play & Rules
❓ What is the dress code at most courses?
Collared shirt, golf pants or tailored shorts
Golf shoes (soft spikes)
No jeans, gym wear, or flip-flops
❓ Are caddies required?
Some courses (e.g., St Andrews Old Course) require caddies or strongly recommend them. We can pre-arrange caddy services.
❓ What if it rains?
Courses rarely close unless conditions are dangerous.
We recommend travel insurance for weather cancellations.
Many resorts offer rain-check policies for rescheduling.
